About Me:
Carolyn Mercury Powery is an etiquette consultant having received her certification with an international organization who’s mission is to instill confidence, self-esteem and respect of others, by blending the standards of traditional etiquette with contemporary manners. Upon graduation, she was certified to teach Business Etiquette, Social Etiquette, Dining Etiquette, and Children’s Etiquette. Ms. Powery earned her Master of Science Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Child and Youth Care Administration and her Bachelor of Science Degree from Bethune Cookman University with a degree in Correction/Psychology. Ms. Powery is a Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) having received her certifications in 2008 from National Council on Family Relations. She is a member of the West Palm Beach Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc and a member of National Council on Family Relations. Ms. Powery is the Founder and President of The Etiquette Touch Institute LLC, which is an etiquette consulting company based in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Etiquette Touch Institute LLC is a part of The National Association of Urban Professionals (NAUEP) a nationwide “urban etiquette initiative,” which reaches out to the urban community to address the need for knowledge of proper business and social protocol. Ms. Powery has 28 years of experience in the field of counseling, serving thousands of families in Palm Beach County, exceptional people skills, professionalism and passion for helping others. In addition, Ms. Powery’s personal experience, professional experience, achievements in modeling, college pageantry, has prepared her to meet the needs of her clients, by giving them that competitive edge, “Refining their Social Graces”. She has provided etiquette training to numerous groups, organizations, and individuals on the subject of etiquette and protocol in South Florida. Ms. Powery has a passion for teaching and facilitating etiquette, protocol and social graces to all age groups in the forms of seminars, workshops, classes and camps. She believes, providing individuals with theses essential skills will give them an edge to succeed throughout life socially and professionally, helping to make their future brighter and better for themselves and others around them.
