About Me:

Christie Taylor was born in Washington DC and raised in the rural of West Tennessee in the early 70’s. She’s a graduate of Millington Central High and an alumnus of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she majored in Communications (Radio/TV/Film). Latest Bio Facts: Christie is a master communicator and public speaker with an electrifying message for peak performers and success-driven people. She is now nationally launching her Living LIFE Seminars while creating radio/TV/film brands under the moniker of CBT Unlimited Inc. Christie is also the proud recipient of the 2008 Memphis Woman Magazine’s 50 Women Who Make a Difference award. Radio Career: Christie, recipient of the 2004 Gospel Bridge Awards Female Radio Personality of Year Award, worked hard to make herself a top contender in the radio industry. She fell in love with radio while a student at Oral Roberts University where she worked in the afternoons on the campus radio station, KUTA. Her radio journey included working in various aspects of radio in markets like Tulsa, Detroit, Birmingham, St. Louis and Memphis. In her over ten years in the radio industry, she garnered a proven record to deliver key demographics in top 20 and 50 markets. Prior to Christie's recent move into the public speaking industry, she served as the afternoon drive personality in Memphis on 95.7 Hallelujah FM and 1600 Hallelujah AM in St. Louis simultaneously, Christie also did double duty as host of the monthly ND Radio Gospel Talk Show as well as the weekly public affairs show, The Pulse. What You Might Not Know: Christie has a great fascination with the people and culture of Trinidad and Tobago and dreams of having a “winter home” there in the near future. Her favorite charity is the Memphis Child Advocacy Center, she enjoys sharing her time through various community projects involving children and the arts; she created and conducts Living LIFE seminars, is a poet, loves acting (dreamed of a career on Broadway), is a movie buff and has co-written a movie script that is in post-production. She has also been very involved in the music industry as a singer/songwriter and has worked with various artists including Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Margaret Bell, Commissioned, Fred Hammond, Judith Christie McAllister, Donnie McClurkin and her Grammy and Dove award winning producer brother, Mooki. Another notable -- in the inaugural year of the Grizzlies arrival to Memphis, she was the only female who made the final cut for PA announcer and was a guest announcer during that season. Christie’s Favorites: Her favorite artist of all times is Andrae Crouch and the Disciples (she once carried around one of their vinyl records with her as a child but it melted one day when she left it in the car and she also wishes she still had those Andrae Crouch comic books). One of her favorite source of inspiration is the audio book, “Creative Visualization (a must have) and she loves the movie “Love Jones” (”I wish I had somebody who’d wash my feet” LOL). Her Life’s Mission: To live life in full expression and to teach others how to do the same. Available for Speaking Engagements and Screenwriting. Call (800) 610-5470.
