Everlasting Glass Art jewlery

About Me:

I am a photographer who discovered glass bead making at Urban Glass in 2001. Working with fire and learning how to melt rods of colored glass and wrapping them around a stainless steel mandrel rod was challenging yet fascinating..... I currently spend many hours at the torch sculpting and creating fun unique one of a kind glass beads. I’m drawn to the process of manipulating and transforming glass into beautiful pieces of wearable art. My experience in photography has helped me to be detail oriented and patient with the multi step process of creating beads. I love creating raised sculpted flowers and drawing delicate multicolored vine designs using thin rods which I pull from larger rods. I’m inspired by nature and I choose color combinations that remind me of plants and even animals. I often include powdered glass, frits, enamels, and mica powders in my bead making designs . In addition I love to experiment with adding metal inclusions in my beads, such as copper, silver, and gold because of the unique color reactions that take place when mixing glass with metals. I’m currently working on a collection of fused glass jewelry, that combines glass with gold and leather.

  • After reading your profile page and seeing all of the amazing creations you do, I wanted to find out if you knew about TAG TEAM Marketing. This is a wonderful Black buying and selling initiative that has just launched full-scale in Atlanta and other cities across the country. Tag Team Marketing is looking for hand crafted items (jewelry, soaps, clothing, handbags, pillows, lotions, candles, art, stationary) and other products (i.e., self-published books or CDs (uplifting, Christian, no profanity, etc.) created by Black entrepreneurs to sell on the online store Buy Black Today and at weekly selling events.

Please visit the website and check out the videos and testimonials www.tagteammarketing.com/TeamDollar. Many of the current products are all natural hair, body, skin and health items made by Black businesses for Black consumers.

One of my jobs as an Independent Marketer is to find new businesses who create their own unique, high-quality products and tell them about this amazing opportunity to take their business to another level.

  • Greetings,
I am the newly appointed Area Coordinator for the State of Michigan for the National Black Yellow Pages (NBYP); my name is Andrea Fields. I've prepared a brief slide show presentation to introduce you to our directory. While you are viewing the presentation and considering whether or not to advertise with us please keep the following facts in mind:
    - To benefit from "black buying power" you have to be visible.
    - The NBYP was created in 1984 to be the optimal source through which to find quality Black/ African American business owners and business professionals.
    - Those businesses that use the Internet grew 46% faster than those that didn't according to the US Department of Commerce.
    - 87% of online users depend on the Internet to access local information (don't you?) according to Digitrends
    - 52.7% of online business directory users visit a business because of what they saw online also according to Digitrends.
    - A listing in the National Black Yellow Pages will promote you locally and expose you globally.
    - You can advertise with us at prices starting at less than $1.10 per day.

For more information or to sign up contact via e-mail at nationalblackyellowpages@yahoo.com , or go to www.nationalblackyellowpages.com/068_area.htm peruse the site. Please be sure to use Representative Number 068 when you register to advertise with us.
