About Me:
I have worked for the State of Texas for the past 27 years and have gained vast knowledge in the area of Federal and State Child Care policies and procedures. I have seen the child care program for low income families grow from a small percentage of the need to managing child care as a support services in the workforce system. I have been instrumental in helping develop an application that is used statewide by Local Workforce Development Board's contractors to certify eligibility for clients who are working or in training all the way through processing payments to providers who provide the child care services. Through the years contracting with the Local Workforce Development Boards has allowed us to maximize federal dollars through matching funds in the local communities. I am nearing retirement from the State while young enough to step into a new career. I recently received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Saint Edwards University and I am interested in starting my own business in the food service industry. I have many years of experience in cooking and have been told on numerous occassion that I am a great cook. I have developed a Seasoning Product that will offer each customer the opportunity to experience an enhanced flavor to foods they prepare with a bold new taste. You may find my product in your local grocery store in the near future.
