About Me:
I was born in Alexandria, LA. In 1998 Gloria graduated from Jr. College with an Associates of Arts Degree. Because of my determination to succeed in 2005 I enrolled in New College of CA, In August of 2006 I graduated with a degree in Humanities & Leadership with an emphasis in Counseling. I use my major in writing poetry to motivate, stimulate, and cultivate people to move beyond the ordinary and go for the extra-ordinary. I have written poetry and recited in Churches, Cafes, funerals, weddings, and written poetry for newsletters. What make my poetry unique is the heartfelt experiences of real life I place into each of my written poems, which is a testament of my spiritual growth through my personal relationship with God. I often say to my audience "You must persevere no matter what may come your way". I say, never give up on your dreams; keep going until you succeed, you must see the vision that God has for your life, and walk into your calling. You're not here by accident!
