About Me:

I'm a single black woman who recently started promoting comedy shows. The comedians I hire are nationally known from featuring on BET, Comicview, Comedy Central, and many more media networks. I also support unsigned local talent, as I allow a different artist/group the opportunity to open for each show to further their experience in front of a live audience, and they also get to network with nationally known comedians. I'm seeking sisterhood friendship and support with assisting me to maintain my business, and help it grow to a success as I progress. I'm also looking to get invovled with networking events, as well as seeking volunteer opportunities. In addition, if anyone is seeking exposure for their business please contact me. I have sponsorship packages available for upcoming comedy shows.

  • Peace and Blessing! Just saying hello and inviting you to visit my new Ezine which has been published to celebrate the uniqueness of the African American Family. Articles will feature the journey of how we have survived and adapted to life’s challenges. The amazing way we can draw upon each others strength and compassion to overcome insurmountable odds. There is both beauty and tragedy in our journey which has taught us to be creative in every area of life. The communication style and tone of the magazine is “kitchen table wisdom”, the way we learn life through the wisdom of our family as being taught a lesson through the example and consequences of others as these stories were told to us by our elders. We need to strengthen the bonds within the family to improve the conditions in our community.

  • Wow, do you have a LinkedIn profile? I would love to like you with someone here in Detroit who does the same thing. My thinking is that if the two of you work together, you can get your entertainers more exposure. It's just a though.

    Greetings,
I am the newly appointed Area Coordinator for the State of Michigan for the National Black Yellow Pages (NBYP); my name is Andrea Fields. I've prepared a brief slide show presentation to introduce you to our directory. While you are viewing the presentation and considering whether or not to advertise with us please keep the following facts in mind:
    - To benefit from "black buying power" you have to be visible.
    - The NBYP was created in 1984 to be the optimal source through which to find quality Black/ African American business owners and business professionals.
    - Those businesses that use the Internet grew 46% faster than those that didn't according to the US Department of Commerce.
    - 87% of online users depend on the Internet to access local information (don't you?) according to Digitrends
    - 52.7% of online business directory users visit a business because of what they saw online also according to Digitrends.
    - A listing in the National Black Yellow Pages will promote you locally and expose you globally.
    - You can advertise with us at prices starting at less than $1.10 per day.

For more information or to sign up contact via e-mail at nationalblackyellowpages@yahoo.com , or go to www.nationalblackyellowpages.com/068_area.htm peruse the site. Please be sure to use Representative Number 068 when you register to advertise with us.
