Divas On A Budget Profession Event Coordinators & Retailer
About Me:
My name is La'Keisha Ciprian and I am one of the Founders and als the Director of Business Operations for Divas On A Budget. I have been coordinating meetings and events for nearly 10 years. Some of those events include fashion shows, baby showers, organization information sessions, and company open houses. In coordinating these events I was responsible for contract negotiation, and solicitation of vendors. My creativity in event planning spilled over into my professional career as a teacher. With limited resources I was able to implement creative activities for my students spending my own money to facilitate projects (Talk about being a Diva on A Budget). That experience helped me understand the importance of quality and how to stretch funds. After four years of teaching I became the Director of an Abbott Pre-School. This experience was powerful because it was the first time I was involved in a start up company. Starting with literally NOTHING, I, with the help of my Diva partners, built the school into a well respected first choice early learning center. Starting that business from the ground up led me to pursue my dream of entrepeneurship; my goal is to build successful businesses and to teach others how to start their own businesses and live their dream.
