About Me:
I am the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of SisterSpeak Online Magazine, a lifestyle e-zine for Black women launched in January 2007. SisterSpeak's readership spans 40 of the United States, the UK, Canada, Africa and the Caribbean, and won the best e-zine title in the 2008 Black Web Awards competition. I am also an educator, a mother of five, and the co-founder of the Next Generation Education Foundation which primarily addresses the needs of young black men, and will expand to in 2008 to include outreach to young women of color.
