About Me:

Melanie is considered a Renaissance Woman. She has an avid interest, education and experience in many things: Business Management (specializing in small business with a keen focus on entrepreneurship), Wedding and Event Planning & Consulting, Entertainment (television, film, music, and celebrity news), Lifestyle (beauty, fashion, cultural-fusion culinary arts and green living), Health (holistic and alternative health), Leisure Group Travel, and Sports (football, volleyball, basketball and motor sports). The Ohio native has been writing fiction, non-fiction and poetry since 1992. She has penned two books and her poems have been published in several anthologies. Melanie is long-time Holistic Health/Wellness and Women issues advocate. She is also a supporter and participant of marathon walking and running for charity and health with her favorite organization Team-in-Training. Melanie's career began in medical assisting technologies, but transitioned to technical writing and information systems in the real estate industry. She re-directed her career focus to entrepreneurship for a more balanced, fun and productive lifestyle. This passionate multi-tasker changes hats as a R.E. Investor, freelance writer, author, copy writer, publisher, radio host, voice over artist and producer.  Melanie co-produced a religious series for local Access Monterey Peninsula. She currently produces online radio and web shows covering topics from entertainment, balanced living, entrepreneurship to senior care, relationship issues and cultural exploration. As a copy writer, she writes emails, newsletters, online content and video scripts for the alternative health, business incubation and real estate investing industries for companies targeting the 25+ market. Personally, Melanie has a love for photography, movies, travel, gourmet fusion cooking, great wine, fabulous martinis, hang-out with friends, the beach and everything Beledi.
