Texas 10’s Plus Models is a plus size modeling group founded in 2008 by Mardi “Monarch” Hunter and is based in Fort Worth , TX . The group was founded with one simple goal in mind and that is to support the careers of aspiring “Plus” models and enhance the lives of all fuller figured women. The models of Texas 10’s range in size from 12-24 and are all the epitome of beauty, confidence and style. Fuller Figured women posses’ disposable income and purchasing power in the retail market spending in excess of 17 million dollars each year on clothing and accessories, yet are not equally represented in retail outlets. Over 40% of American women wear a size 12 or larger, but have limited options available in most retail stores. Texas 10’s Plus Models have charged the mass media, retail outlets and the fashion industry as a whole with unfair bias against fuller figured women. It is time for a revolution! It’s time for ACTION! To the media, designer’s, buyers and retailer’s, we simple ask you to free your minds as we welcome you to the Texas 10’s Plus Models “Size Sexy Revolution”. Are you interested in becoming a plus model? Well, here's your chance! Texas 10's Plus Models is seeking beautiful, secure, confident ladies who are between a size 12-24, 5'4" to 6" tall and willing to make a commitment to a career in promotional modeling. If this sounds like you, email a head shot and full body photo to apply@texas10smodels.com Once your photos are received you will receive an application which you will need to complete and return via email. Upon receipt of your completed application, and if you are selected you will be contacted to set-up an interview. If you are selected after the interview process, an offer to become a Texas 10's Plus Model will be made to you. Should you choose to accept our offer you will be required to pay a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $100.00. This fee will cover the following: A (1) outfit photo shoot with one of the areas leading Photographers, professional make-up for that shoot, a CD of your photos to begin building your portfolio and your shoot will be schedule within two weeks of receipt of your payment.
