For her, makeup started out as a fun thing to do. It wasn’t until the spring of 2000 while attending an entrepreneurship conference with her parents that a light bulb went off. Nicole thought, “I should have my own cosmetic line.” After a short stint in Corporate America after college, the burning desire to be in the beauty industry re-emerged and Ne’Lani Cosmetics & Skincare was born. Nicole moved to the NYC area in 2006 and trained with the area’s top makeup artists to perfect her craft and in 2009, Ne’Lani was born. The Beauty Collection The launch of the beauty collection for Ne’Lani Cosmetics & Skincare will be revolutionary to the beauty industry. Nicole is anxious to introduce the Ne’Lani collection so that she in her own way will motivate women to embrace themselves to ‘unleash their flawless beauty.’ Through extensive due diligence with cosmetic formula manufactures, Nicole found a winning relationship with her suppliers. Nicole also made the decision to ‘go green’ and ‘all natural’ by only carrying products that are free from harsh chemicals and preservatives with recyclable packaging materials. The launch of the beauty collection, that includes facial care and makeup, is scheduled to debut in fall 2010.
