    Come share your expertise with less fortunate women of color at SISTA' UNITY NETWORK, where African American women unite from all over the world in hopes of encouraging, motivating, mentoring, or simply sharing your individual "know-how" with someone who is less fortunate.
    A recent study showed that nine out of every ten blacks (91 percent) who live to 75 years of age will have experienced poverty for at least one year during their lifetime, compared with only 50% of whites. Many of the children living in poverty in America are the children of African-American families headed by single females.
