A P90X Grad!!

I've gone on to lose an additional 6 lbs completing P90X.Since then I've incorporated the Shakeology Program drinking 1 Shake per day and working out every other day while alternating between the 30 and 50 minute Shakeology Workouts.I'm currently using the Body Gospel workout program with Donna Richardson Joyner -which also incorporates the Shakeology drinks (which is a staple in our household) and I absolutely love, love, love it!

  • Thank you Bianca!! That is a great program... but they are really bringing it with some intense -but fun- workouts as well. I love to dance... and I lost the majority of my post baby weight with Turbo Jam. It's a combination of cardio and kickboxing set to some really great music. I love that workout. You have such a good time and get so into the music... you don't even feel like your working out... until you realize how much you're sweating!     I can't wait to get my hands on it! It's new and everyone I know that's using it, raves about it, but I like to complete the programs I start. So, right now I'm committed to Body Gospel and I love it! Turbo Fire is something I really look forward to, but only after I've completed Body Gospel. Here's a clip:

    So... I say all of this to say- lol- there are many other programs -in addition to P90X- that would be a great fitness option as well. Jeez, I just don't know how to keep it short! lol

  • Hmmm??? I'm sorry... I don't follow. Where did you get the idea that we don't eat solid food? That would be really irresponsible and unhealthy - in my opinion. Although, it's there in black and white, to clarify... I replaced a meal a day while on the Shakeology Program for weight loss.
    Shakeology is as a meal replacement or healthy snack alternative. The individual taking it may use it to meet their specific health and fitness needs. I used it for weight loss. Since I'm currently at my desired weight, I use it every day for overall wellness and to maintain my weight. My husband and son have different health and fitness needs. They use it as a supplement shake in order to replace the nutrients they've lost during their workouts. It is natural and provides your body with over 70+ healthy nutrients and ingredients. It is recommended for every day use for overall wellness and optimal health but it should NOT be the only meal you consume throughout any given day!
    I apologize if I'm coming on a little strong, but this is a very public forum and I can't have that little tidbit of misinformation regarding my family's health and well being go unaddressed. Misunderstandings like that have a way of snowballing and I love them way too much to even risk it!
