These two are my latest creations using simple ingredients straight out of my kitchen. The quick story behind the reason I made these is because I have problem skin. Like the average person I am experiencing adult acne. I have used many over the counter products and they work for a while then the outbreaks continue despite constant use. So I decided to do some research on essential oils for acne and discovered that I already had one that I wasn't using. It does not have the best smell in the world but I have been using this combo twice a day for four days now and my husband sees a noticeable change in my skin. I have oily type skin and I have not had a problem with oily skin for the past four days and no new outbreaks. The kicker is that the only ingredient that is added to this combo that was not from my kitchen was the essential oil that I used which aids in killing and preventing bacteria. Now my skin is clearing up beautifully. I will be working on a facial moisturizer for this set to make it a trio. You'd really be amazed at the ingredients contained in these two bottles. I must note that everyone's skin is not the same so everyone will not acheive the same results. So far so good for me and I'm sticking to my regimen. I need to also mention that although I am making a moisturizer the cleanser does not dry my skin out so I am still left with some moisture and softer feeling skin. In the Toner I added a natural ingredient used to close or tighten the pores to seal out any bacteria floating in the air. I can't say enough about these two and I'm proud of my work especially because I was tired of looking in the mirror and seeing horrible scars from my acne prone skin. UPDATE: 8/25/09 ok its been 6 days so I had to come back and do an update on my skin. I fell off my scheduled for one day and I had one pimple show up but I have been back on schedule and my skin is so clear that even I am surprised. Even the one pimple went away and it didn't take a week for it to disappear. This is a inexpensive and safer alternative to salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide that could cause dry and irritated skin. These products are not designed to remove dark spots but you will see a noticeable change in your complexion. I think I've hit the jackpot with this formula!
