About Me:

I host women from around the country on an annual vacation to Martha's Vineyard. In 1984 I launched Renaissance Publications the parent company of the Greater Pittsburgh Black Business Directory and Resource Guide and newspaper, Pittsburgh Renaissance News. Now in it 30th year the Black Business Directory http://www.pittsburghblackdirectory.com is the oldest continuing Black Business Directory in the United States. For 19 years, the Black Extravaganza and Trailblazers Awards gathered the community with sponsors, community leaders and media presenters for a red carpet celebration in the splendor of Pittsburgh's Carnegie Museum. In addition, from 1990-1989 Womanpower, Seminar for African American Women, presented business, personal and professional workshops and nationally celebrated speakers including Loretta Devine. I remain passionate about hosting exciting, uplifting events in particular for African American Women and regularly host luncheons and Girls Night Out in Pittsburgh
