About Me:
Working in the spa industry as a licensed esthetician ignited the self-care spark for me. I was fortunate enough to work at some of the top spas on the West coast; The Claremont Resort & Spa in Berkeley, CA, www.claremontresort.com , Ummelina Int'l Day Spa, Seattle, WA, www.ummelina.com, and The Salish Lodge & Spa, Snoqualmie, WA, www.salishlodge.com. My personal self-care journey started at Ummelina's where there was a focus on helping the clients realize the value and importance of self-care and also where I was introduced to nature-based products; Ummelina's gathered products from all over the world. I owned and operated my own skin care business & was an independent business owner of the Warm Spirit nature-based product line. Warm Spirit provided me with a platform to talk to women from all walks of life about the value and importance of self-care, something I absolutely loved. The journey continues and now self-care is no longer something I do, it's a way of life. I hope to share some of the things I've learned and unlearned over the years on this path with the hopes that, if you're not already living a self-care life-style, you'll seriously consider doing so sooner than later. I believe we all deserve to look good, feel good, and live well from the inside to the skin-side.

Do use the month of September to find a way to support the Breast Cancer Movement, even if it's just to increase your knowledge.
View the Breast Cancer articles and video segments. Encourage your loved ones to schedule their mammogram's for October, and remember to do Self -Examinations. Early detection is key!
Breast Cancer is not just a woman's disease, men should examine their breasts as well.
