About Me:

Philadelphia native, raised in North Philly, sights enlightened by the extended outreach of my education, through private and parochial Schools. “Working with computers has been a passion for many years,” Venturing into the virtual world of digital arts has driven me to strive for higher learning. Inspiration guided by strong role models, including 5th grade teacher; Sen. Robert Casey Jr. Becoming a young mother of two wonderful boys to raise and nurture, a family in the making, pursuing a goal, blurry, but in sight. Developing skills in the corporate world as a Receptionist / Administrator, the computer at my desk was a new world to explore. With doors being opened here and there, only slightly closed before me. The Boys grew-older and sights cleared the view for the realization of continuing my education became more achievable. In 2003 enrolling as an adult student into the Art Institute of Philadelphia’s, Digital Media Productions Bachelors program. Networking and expanding my knowledge brought me to Quintessence Entertainment Inc., summer of 2003 as an administrative assistant/editing intern. During my second year, the Black Student Union, AIPH Chapter voted me into the position as 2nd Vice President, giving me the opportunity to expand my work with children and community outreach. In 2005, wanting to share the knowledge with others through my work as Digital Arts Specialist for the Community C.A.R.E.S. Learning Center’s after school program at New Foundations Charter School, in North East Philadelphia. Instructing the students of NFCS is a continuing joy. Extending my knowledge to share with others in the area, by organizing Adult Computer Classes open for members of the community. “Introducing all ages to the wonders of the Digital World" by giving each student the key to explore and create. Participating in the National Service Learning Conference of 2005, shined light on project learning as a form to reach all ages. With organized activities and groups we have produced a Video Production Team (6th -8th grades); Graphic Illustration Team (2nd - 8th grades); Flash Animation Group (5th -8th grades); Web site builders (5th - 8th grades); Digital Photo shooters (2nd - 8th grades); and For the adults - Office programs 1 (Microsoft Word & PowerPoint) & Office programs 2 (Excel & Access). • Hi Jeanie,

Welcome to this wonderful site. I hope you enjoy your networking experience.

Please check out this month issue of The Adventist Times www.theadventisttimes.com/.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month www.nationalbreastcancer.org/default.aspx

Do use the month of September to find a way to support the Breast Cancer Movement, even if it's just to increase your knowledge.

View the Breast Cancer articles and video segments. Encourage your loved ones to schedule their mammograms for October, and remember to do Self -Examinations. Early detection is key!

Breast Cancer is not just a woman's disease; men should examine their breasts as well.

I've received TONS of requests to re-play the interview with David and Tamela Mann. She's so pretty!
    Well here it is...ENJOY!
