About Me:
My name is Kenya Moses and I've been a passionate lover of health and fitness for as long as I can remember. I received my first personal training certification 13 years ago as an undergraduate student at The University of California, Davis, where I studied Music, Economics and Dramatic arts (Dance emphasis). Although over the years I held positions in Investment Finance, Real Estate and also ran a successful concierge start-up, I always found myself veering back to my true passion: health and fitness. After the birth of my first child, I came to the conclusion that there were numerous women (whether they have children or not) that were feeling stuck in their path to achieving their optimum bodies. I began speaking with women in my local community (Alameda, CA) and made the decision to create a company that was dedicated to helping women change not just their bodies, but what it means to love and honor ourselves completely. In the year 2009, the mobile/in-home health and fitness services company, Be A Fit Mama, Inc. was created. As a women's health and fitness expert I collaborate with a number of organizations and media outlets. Currently I am expert talent for Ehow and Livestrong women's fitness channels, the SF Cardio Examiner, and author of numerous ebooks and articles on women's health and fitness.
