About Me:

I moved to Atlanta 3 years ago from Chicago. People ask why? The winters are COLD! I worked at Kaiser Permanente for a nationwide project that they implemented in Metro and Greater Atlanta. You know the Thrive commercials where a lady talks to her doctor via email? That's the project I managed for a year. I LOVE SHOES! That's my passion so I decided to follow that passion in 2007 when I started Sole Journey. Since I've traveled to New York City, San Francisco and Chicago for years for work, I wanted to bring that level of fashion to Atlanta with new brands with style instead of logos. I opened a shoe business with events at hot restaurants, hotels and hip spots throughout Atlanta for Summer 2008. For the ladies that like something different, this was my answer. In Chicago, I worked with a few community organizations so starting a business had to include philantrophy for me. So far, I sponsored the Purse Strings event at the Biltmore Hotel, a silent auction for purses. Proceeds went to the financial literacy of women and young adults due to the housing crisis that has dramatically impacted Atlanta. Each event that I host this summer (2008) will go to a charity or a cause to help others. In Fall 2008, the plan is to open a store in Midtown Atlanta.

  • Hello again,

Please check out this month issue of The Adventist Times www.theadventisttimes.com/.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month www.nationalbreastcancer.org/default.aspx

Do use the month of September to find a way to support the Breast Cancer Movement, even if it's just to increase your knowledge.

View the Breast Cancer articles and video segments. Encourage your loved ones to schedule their mammograms for October, and remember to do Self -Examinations. Early detection is key!

Breast Cancer is not just a woman's disease; men should examine their breasts as well.

I've received TONS of requests to re-play the interview with David and Tamela Mann. She's so pretty!
    Well here it is...ENJOY!
