About Me:
As the founder and principal for PCG (the Purvis Consulting Group) I assist individuals, companies and nonprofits start and effectively manage charitable projects. This work involves rebranding, media training, grantwriting, program development and executive coaching among other service. While PCG speaks to a mass audience, the heart of the company is committed to targeting the specific needs of the African American philanthropist and civic leader in hopes of builing resources for our local communities. I bring more than 16 years of experience and advanced education in nonprofit management, policy analysis and urban studies to each client interaction. While many (unfortunately) have attempted to boil our industry down to "grantwriting" I am very proud of the fact that PCG works with our clients to build LEGACIES and create impact.
