What's Your Business?
Mya's Place is more than just a shop! It was created in honor of my little brown girl, Mya, and primarily for African American children everywhere. Mya's Place has rooms designed to meet party needs, educational needs, and special gifts! It is my hope that Myas' Place will nurture and promote a positive self -image in our children. Our children need to grow seeing and embracing their beauty as some other nationalities see every day.

About Me:
My name is Tammy and I've been teaching Early Childhood Education for over thirteen years. More importantly, I'm a wife, and a little over three years ago I became a mother, A miraculous experience that led me to a place that had been calling me for quite sometime... During that time, I was inspired to create a place that would extend beyond my classroom and my my little girl. I believe that God has allowed me to reinvent myself by one day coming out of the traditional classroom, and essentially creating a classroom by my design. Mya's Place, a world classroom that educates, celebrates, uplifts, and embraces the often overlooked beauty and greatness in our children.
