About Me:

Edlyne Esther Decady Edlyne Esther Decady was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti. In 1975, her parents relocate to New York City. Mentorship and education plays a tremendous part in Decady’s life. Under the mentorship of Bishop Harold Calvin & Brenda Ray, Edlyne was ordained a minister of the gospel and set in the office of the prophet. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Davis Center of Performing Arts City College of New York and studied at the Martha Graham Technique School of Modern Dance. Great teachers of dance such as Martha Graham, a Pioneer of modern dance and the late Walter Raines, a Master Teacher for the Alvin Ailey Dance Company, Dance Theater of Harlem and a host of others took Decady under their wings and quickly became her mentors early in her dance career. Their instructions continue to mold her to this day. Decady is a pioneer of the liturgical dance movement that is blessing political leaders, educational Institutions and churches all across the nations. She was invited to dance at the United Nations in New York City. Her demonstration of ‘’ we shall behold Him” impacted and blessed many political leaders. In 2000, as Fine Arts Director of Redemptive Life Fellowship, she traveled with sixty urban youth ministering to inner city communities in nine states; ten region city along the eastern seaboard. She dance nightly and many inner city youth was inspired. One of the highlight of the trip was the tour to the White House where the youth received a letter of commendation from President Bill Clinton. At Juanita Bynum’s cross-denominational “Behind the Veil” conference in St. Louis, Missouri, Decady ministered and choreographed all of the dances for the 100 dancers who ministered throughout the 30,000 in attendance conference. In 2006, Dr. Bynum asked Decady to be a guest artist dance coordinator for her “Threshing Floor” revival held at the Georgia Dome which became the congregational ground for over 50,000 international attendees. These events were televised and viewed by millions of souls on The WORD Network, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) and Black Entertainment Television (BET). She was invited to dance by Dr. Bobby Jones on his Television show. She also danced at the Urban Summit hosted by Dr. Bobby Jones at the Foxwood Resort and Casino in Ledyard, Connecticut before the Mashantucket Peqout Tribal Nation and The WORD Network viewers. She is a team player for Bobby Jones Gospel television show where she assisted in production. Also at this same event she graced the stage assisting the award ceremony by handing awards to Gospel legends such as Pastor Shirley Caesar, Tramaine Hawkins, Rev. Daryl Coley, Richard Smallwood, Candi Staten and Kurt Carr. In February 2007, she was invited to dance and choreograph for the Agape Award Ceremony held at the Apollo Theater in NYC. Decady danced and was interviewed on TBN live for Haiti and the sister network smile of a child. She also danced and was interviewed at ALMAVISION reaching out to the Hispanic community. Decady serves in Miami as Dance Director of Trinity Church under the leadership of Pastors Rich and Robyn Wilkerson. She is also the author of “Dance in the Fire,” a book to be released in 2009 serving as a reference for those who desire to learn more about dance and the worshippers in the Bible. Decady will continue to travel to teach and travel to many nations in the future. She is passionate about dance and the freedom it brings to others In addition, Decady is the C.E.O. of Lord and Queen Esther, Inc. retailing fine apparel and accessories.     Do use the month of September to find a way to support the Breast Cancer Movement, even if it's just to increase your knowledge.

    View the Breast Cancer articles and video segments. Encourage your loved ones to schedule their mammograms for October, and remember to do Self -Examinations. Early detection is key!

    Breast Cancer is not just a woman's disease; men should examine their breasts as well.
