A Social Network for Women in Business, Women Entrepreneurs, and Bloggers
A good friend of mine truly understands the value of bringing people together, even tho he has his own business (very successful) he finds time in helping to promote the good works of people who have something powerful and meaningful to share with networks/individuals/organizations, well he's done it again. In May 1997, just four short months after giving birth to her second child, having recovered from a third knee surgery, and being told by newly named Houston Comets head coach (and her former college coach) Van Chancellor to “not waste her time coming to try out”, Yolanda Moore beat out more than 200 women to land one of four remaining spots on the inaugural roster of the Houston Comets. Yolanda spent four seasons in the WNBA winning two WNBA championships with the Houston Comets in 1997 & 1998.
