In the beginning, Ari, Heaven, Katora and Marissa are just friends but friends with known and unknown secrets that reveal in due time. They all have one thing in common, there friends and Ari is the link between the four friends.When Ari Jennings learns of her mother’s continued alcohol addiction, she cringes at what she faces. Growing up poor and with no family, Ari is left to take care of her mother. All she’s ever wanted for her son was a family; mother and father but Ramon, her boyfriend is making it hard on her. At many times Katora, finds herself raising their son on her own and Ramon is no where to be found. Feeling that Ramon is the love of her life, she will do anything to keep the peace and give her son a family like, ignoring the signs that he’s cheating, putting herself on the backburner for others. Not only does she struggle with issues at home but she is being neglecting by her older sister, Ziaha. Not understanding why she is going through so much, she calls on the number one woman in her life; Grandma J. Katora makes many visits to see her Grandmother and get as much advice as possible and hopes to be as wise as she is some day.In the midst of all of her everyday struggles, Katora is forced to find out what’s really going on with her boyfriend and the truth is gonna destroy her.Shianne “Heaven” Berlin is different from all the other ladies. She’s outgoing, fun, spontaneous and loves life, money and men; just like her mother. She’s a spoiled rich girl and out to get nothing but the best. She finds herself in an awkward situation that goes against her beliefs; her mother’s beliefs. She does everything in her power to do things her way but it’s just not working. Finally deciding to do the right thing, she gets caught up in something that fits her nature but was against her will and it’s no longer all about Heaven.Ari, Katora, Marissa and Heaven find out just how much they have in common once all secrets are revealed and they stop pushing away their friendship and start working towards it.
