INDEPENDENCE DAY

Many Americans are preparing to travel, party, and ignite fireworks in celebration of the Declaration of Independence of the United States from Great Britain in 1776. However, for many members of Black Business Women Online we should celebrate our individual “declarations of independence” from Corporate America, dead-end jobs, and the glass ceilings of limitation that were often placed over our heads. We have and continue to make our declarations by advocating for entrepreneurship, building stronger more competitive businesses, and endeavoring to create wealth and job opportunities for ourselves, our families, and our communities. As we face economic hardships in the US and a growing competitive global economy abroad it is imperative that we operate our businesses at the most efficient levels. Simply having a business is not enough. We must work together through communities like BBWO to assist each other by (1) Forming strategic business partnerships, (2) Creating private equity pools to fund new businesses ventures, and (3) Creating forums that promote and advance research and development into new areas of technology. We appreciate the many opportunities that CSG has had to assist so many member of BBWO in structuring their businesses, drafting and negotiating contracts, and managing their trademark, patent, and copyright interest. We look forward to continuing to provide our Business Consulting Services to the members of BBWO for years to come. Moreover, we commend and congratulate LaShanda Henry on her accomplishments and her dedication to educating business owners. This July 4th take a moment to celebrate your own Independence Day. Ponder that.Best regards,CSGEAST.COMText or IM us at answersnow@csgeast.com for instant answers to your Business, Contract, or Intellectual Property questions.
