When you own your business, nothing is ever done. For me, there is always a new ingredient or recipe to try or something to add to my website, or a new customer to contact, or orders to fill....the list goes on. This is on top of my non-business life duties! For the past two months, I have been working on my new website. I started out with wahmshoppes, which is a great start for those who want a website store and hosting without much cost: $7.00 a month. Great program, great shop. But, then I got greedy. I wanted more. Then I found Zen Cart, a free open source program that gives you a website storefront, newsletter, gift certificates and the ability to make your site look really, really cool. I couldn't resist. I got hostgator, set up a site and figured it would take me a week to set up the site. Yeah, right. See the first sentence of the previous paragraph. Now, I can breathe a bit. The site is set up and is live! In celebration of me finally being done (well, at least the first phase, you know entrepreneurs are never done)I'm offering a $3.00 gift certificate to all who register on the site.So check me out at www.sheaproducts.info and let me know what you think.Do you agree? Are we as entrepreneurs ever really done? Or are we always looking for new ways to market, to improve, to expand our businesses? Speak out and let BBWO know!
No your never done...I see you on twitter and your always working on something new. Like me, newsletter, working on events, radio show and just when you think you can breathe, the month is new and you have to do it all over again.
I surely believe you.... when you own a business or business' you eat, think, drink and breathe it.
Right now I believe my inability to do my websites are holding me back.
How does Zen Cart work and will is work with the baked goods industry?
I also have a question about insurance and becoming and LLC.
My businesses are in NY and GA, what insurance companies do you use and what does being and LLC cover?
Right now I am 20 years old but I feel as though I am on the brink of amazing achievements.
Any advice you can share will be amazing.
