(BlackDoctor.org) -- Are you having trouble keeping the weight off? Turns out, your lack of willpower could be due to solo dieting.According to a recent study in the British Medical Journal, dieters are more likely to stick with the program and keep the weight off in a group setting. To prove these findings, researchers followed around 232 dieters on four weight loss programs. At the end of six months, all the dieters had lost roughly the same weight. However, those who participated in programs that involved dieters meeting face-to-face with other dieters (such as the ever popular Weight Watchers) were more likely to keep the weight off after one year.If you’re having trouble sticking with your dieting program, try joining a weight loss group. Or, if a group setting isn’t your thing, grab a buddy who is also on a diet and create your own support system.By Nicole Smith, BDO Staff Writer
