Love's Troubadours - Karma: Book One by Ananda Kiamsha Madelyn Leeke tells the story of Karma Francois, a thirtysomething yogini with Louisiana roots and urban debutante flair. The novel begins with Karma?s life in an uproar. The ups and downs that she experiences as a result of career loss and poor life choices make her feel like she is living her own version of Adho Mukha Svanasana (downward facing dog). 1) February 8, 6:30pm-7:30pm, Black Love and History Reading and Art Exhibition @ at Adams National Bank, 1604 17th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009 (three blocks from the Dupont Metro Station - 17th and Q Streets, NW). I will read novel excerpts that celebrate the power of love in the Black community and highlight important Black history facts in the novel.
