Networking, networking, networking

Tuesday evening I went to a networking event hosted by three great groups: The Femme Network, Ladies Who Launch, and Downtown Women's Club. If you don't know about these groups in your area, I suggest checking them out. All are for the female entrepreneur and provide a community of like-minded folks (both online and in-person). Because I was on the last day if that cold, I didn't get to make the rounds as much as I had hoped. However, I did make a few new connections and reconnected with some women I had met at other events. As always, I'm glad I made myself go. Besides, it's always a good idea to leave the home office periodically.

  • Thanks for sharing these organizations. I don't do offline networking nearly as much as I should. Though I am apart of several black entrepreneurship and women entrepreneurship groups on www.meetup.com - this is definitely a great site to find local, niche networks.
