The term "cruelty-free product" is generally understood within the animal rights movement as a product that has not been tested on animals by the manufacturer. However, not because a product it cruelty-free means that it's vegan. Some companies carry cruelty-free vegan and cruelty-free non-vegan products. Therefore it's important to know the difference. Vegan products are not made with ingredients from animal.
