The Ralph W. Shrader Diversity Scholarship was developed to provide educational opportunities for talented individuals pursuing advanced degrees at the master's level and to acknowledge and honor
the unique contributions of Dr. Ralph W. Shrader, the only AFCEA Chairman of the Board to be elected to two different two-year terms. Dr. Shrader championed increased opportunities for women and minorities in the communications and electronics fields.
