Jeanette Rankin Women's Scholarship Fund
Each year the Jeannette Rankin Foundation (JRF) awards grants to low-income women who have a vision of how their education will benefit themselves, their families, and their communities.
By awarding scholarships to low-income women 35 and older, JRF provides opportunities for women nationwide to secure careers and break the cycle of poverty.
The following factors, among others, are considered for each applicant: your goals, your plan for reaching your goals, challenges you may have faced, and your financial situation.
This essay is an important part of your application. It is your opportunity to share your goals, your plan for reaching your goals and the benefit of your education. You will also need to submit two letters of recommendation.
