Evans? Currently, Mr. Evans is pursuing National Board Certification while earning his Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Argosy University (Chicago). Evans’ prior literary work -- Diary of A Renaissance Man – book five of The Evans Poetry Collection – was named a Children's Choice 2008 by the International Reading Association, the Children's Book Council, and 10,000 schoolchildren. Mr. Evans currently resides in Oak Park, Illinois where he continues to write and advocate for the disenfranchised. He is a Special Education Case Manager and Learning Behavior Specialist with the Chicago Public Schools.Mr. Evans grew up in Chicago, Illinois and earned a B.S. in Marketing from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia (1996), a M.A. in Special Education from Saint Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois (2002), and a M.A. in School Improvement and Leadership from Olivet-Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois (2005). He has written several volumes of poetry that he shares with readers of all ages.
