Faith in him....

SHOW GOD YOUR FAITH.....2 CORINTHIANS 5:7“FOR WE WALK BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT”TITUS 2:10“NOT PILFERING, BUT SHOWING ALL GOOD FAITH SO THEY WILL ADORN THE DOCTRINE OF GOD OUR SAVIOR IN EVERY RESPECT”TIMOTHY 1:5“I REMEMBER THE SINCERE FAITH YOU HAVE, THE KIND OF FAITH THAT YOUR GRANDMOTHER LOIS AND YOUR MOTHER EUNICE ALSO HAD. I AM SURE THAT YOU HAVE IT ALSO.”There are so many Christians who walk around claiming their faith in God by quoting such sayings such as “God will see me through”, “I'm sure God will find a way” and “If it is God's will I will make it”. Now all these quotes are fine yet they lack one thing and that is showing God action behind his words. Like the women who had a issue of bleeding for many years, or the Three Hebrew Boys who stood their ground and lets not forget the man who broke open the ceiling in a room that was full only to seek healing from his disease. The difference these people had were not only believing but they showed action by reaching out to God and standing on the promise of his words and when God saw that he was so impressed that there instantly delivered. Let us define this word in Websters Dictionary faith is explained as; fidelity to one's promise and belief and trust in a loyalty to God. This meaning and the examples given in the bible not only gives confirmation but it also shows me that if I can see my on faith than God can too. I myself might as well be preaching to the choir because it was times things got a little crazy and I wondered will I ever make it through. But I was reminded through my siblings about a story of faith that happened before I was born and this was the faith my mom had. My mom gathered my sisters and brothers to the table and there was nothing to eat, yet it did not stop her belief that her kids would get fed. She proceeded with a prayer and after that there was a knock on the door. It was said that one of my uncles brought her a box of meat and none perished foods nevertheless her kids not only ate that night but was able to feast many days after. I still feel an anointing every time I hear this story because even though the cabinets were empty and the refrigerator was bear she continued to believe in God and not worry how things looked. So as I minister this to you I minister to myself . Lets not look at how things look but instead look to God and show action by declaring “God this situation may look bleak but I will continue to believe and stand on your word because I walk by faith and not by sight”.......Lets show God our faith in him God Bless.By....Floria
