I just start reading this book tonight January 2nd, and I tell you it is a true Inspiration... In Chapter 1 she speaks of how God wants to speak with us, and the ways he goes by it, and how sometimes we dont want to listen to what God wants us to hear, we tend to have selective hearing or just turn a deaf ear all together, I am going to share withyou some questions that she had, which really gave me some thought.. I believe God has a great plan for my life, as well as other believers, if we can put our past behind us, and focus on that great future, he will bring it to past. We, women of God is destine for greatness, if we continue to have faith and wait for our dreams of a better future to come to past.
Joyce Meyer's really knows how to make it plain and simply to understand and it just takes your belief in a diffrent direction!!!! I will have to go get the book thanks

I believe one of the biggest problems that most of us has is hearing. For example, we talk loudly or yell over and over again at our kids, spouses, coworkers and friends who we SEE to get their attention and to be heard because they don't listen. These traits of not hearing (which means we just don't listen) are therefore learned. So, when it comes to God who we don't see - it's increasingly diffucult to know when He's speaking. Why? Because most of us don't really know how to listen. However, life's experiences can teach you a lot. How many times have we made mistakes and then determined if we had only waited to hear....from God! I don't know about you, but I have learned from my mistakes, therefore, I choose to trust HIM, which means I have to wait til HE speaks. For each of us HE speaks in different ways. The key is finding out HOW HE speaks to you, so HE won't be like you YELLING to get attention!!! Is HE speaking to you? I know HE's speaking to me and I refuse to move without HIM!!!,

there have been times Ive asked for very specific things; ways out of a situation, deliverance from a negative force in my life, and every time, God has come through. Sometimes you just got to leave things in his hands, and believe it will be taken care of.
