SUCCESS, that’s how I’d label my most recent party. The small guest list enhanced my intimate gathering just as I’d anticipated. It seemed as if my guests had come together because everyone was on time. As we began to party, each one set his or her own mood and pace. We communicated when questions arose and made sure we had satisfied the other’s need; Aaahhh, such beauty. The party’s order of events was simple; I wrote, they read & are now raving about my 2nd book, My Heart Speaks…of Boys and a Girl, debuting today, Tuesday, 21 February 2012.
This is what they have to say:
“My Heart Speaks… of Boys and a Girl is a beautiful literary arrangement of the pains, struggles and tragedies of a young woman who decided to not be a victim; but instead used her voice to empower other women to understand the value of self-love and self-worth.
Larie speaks from an open, candid, raw, and honest voice and exposes her mess in an effort to serve as another person's message. I laughed; shed tears of both joy and pain as I read about her journey from sexual misguidance to self-discovery.
As a survivor of molestation, I can relate first hand on how sexual abuse can have a negative effect on a person, especially when it comes to their choices in men, relationships, emotional connection to their children, as well as interactions with the opposite sex.
My Heart Speaks… of Boys and a Girl reminds us that there is light at the end of the tunnel and Larie empowers us to move from victim to victory!”
Actress, Model & Host,
“Hope you're ready for the unrated and naked truth! Larie takes her second step out of the covered darkness, with My Heart Speaks…of Boys and a Girl, and into the blossomed light. Not only is she inspiring with her candid openness, but also captivating with each detail and nuance of ‘Herstory’. One can only imagine the internal journey that another must take to accomplish such a public declaration! Larie’s message must be announced to all young ladies!

My Heart speaks…of Boys and a Girl was such a compelling and moving story. Although it’s told from Larie’s perspective and real-life happenings, many girls and women will be able to relate to what she has gone through in her life. I commend Larie for sharing such intimate details about her life that will allow other women to realize they’re not alone in their struggles and that they can successfully turn their lives around for the better!
