on my scale in years. I mixed up a fresh green drink for today that I am calling... Everything but, the kitchen sink. I looked in my frig... which looks like the produce section of a grocery store... and pulled out all of the green vegetables. I found dandelion leaves, celery, collard greens, cucumber, green apples, kale, parsley, and spinach. I also grabbed some fresh ginger.

I decided to leave the romaine lettuce I found for my daily salads. But, I did juice all of the other veggies and ginger. I was a little skeptical because, I have mixed a few combinations that were a challenge for my taste buds... but I have learned that granny smith apples, pears, or grapes can correct that issue pretty quick.

So, once done, I took a sip and guess what? It was delicious. I did notice that it is a powerful mix of veggies. I felt this power surge while drinking it. I probably will not mix this combo every day, but it was a nice change from my usual lighter green drink of celery, cucumber, spinach, and green apple with ginger. I have discovered that I generally prefer a "heavier" green drink.

I still find it amusing that I am enjoying juicing so much. I am not a vegetarian, I do eat meat every now and then. Plus, I eat fish. But, it has been nearly a week and I do not miss any of the things I was previously eating. I am not excessively hungry. I drink/eat about every 2-3 hours. My energy levels are great throughout the day and I sleep soundly at night. I love this part because, sleeping all night had become difficult for me over the past several months.

I realize the ease of my juicing this time is for a very simple reason. I was really looking forward to the juice feast" and was mentally ready to proceed. I know to do this successfully. You must be ready to make the necessary changes mentally. Plus, the variety of juice recipes is a huge help. Between books, friends in the holistic health field, and my online research... I have found some easy to recreate juice options.

And before I forget, I want to answer a couple of questions I have received.

Yes, I am taking supplements along with my juicing. I am taking some herbs to shrink my fibroids, essential fatty acids, kelp, and chlorella. I also drink herbal tea (unsweetened) and alkaline or filtered water.

Thank you for allowing me to share my personal juicing journey with you.

Until tomorrow, I hope you have a wonderful day,
