BLACK BUSINESS BUILDERS CLUB ANNOUNCES IT UPCOMING APPEARANCE IN BLACK ENTERPRISE MAGAZINE
The June, 2009 issue of Black Enterprise Magazine will feature a one-third page advertisement promoting the Black Business Builders Club -- an online organization created to promote Black business awareness through networking, entrepreneurial training, education and cooperative economics. The ad is one of many projects initiated by the independent Black Business Builders Worldwide Advertising Cooperative (BBBW1) which is bringing together members of the Black Business Builders Club to buy shares for the advertisement in the upcoming June issue. The Black Business Builders Club is brainchild of Lee Green, chairman of the National Black Business Trade Association (NBBTA). Established in 1993, the NBBTA’s stated mission is to “uplift, inspire, educate, empower and promote the benefits of Black business ownership and entrepreneurship to consumers, businesses, foreign entities and governments worldwide.”After the 2007 launching of Black Business Space, a successful social network targeting entrepreneurs and consumers, Green established the Black Business Builders Club in March, 2008, to continue his life’s work of promoting Black business awareness, as well as offer a funding program which pays members for sharing information about the organization’s mission and benefits. The Black Business Club members who are coming together as BBBW1 have developed this latest initiative with Black Enterprise Magazine because it “maximizes our ability to reach a very large national market targeting our business niche.”.
