From A Writer’s POV
From A Writer’s POV is a literary magazine that features authors, writers and business owners. It caters to the needs of the literary world in many ways. From A Writer’s POV has been in publication for four years. It is currently in print and online. It has several sister sites that meet the needs of the literary world.
From A Writer’s POV was created by Dominique Watson and is maintained by her and Darryl Mims. From A Writer’s POV is updated on a monthly bases; keeping members and readers updated through various newsletters and social networks. From A Writer’s POV was also named magazine of the year by the AAMBC Literary Awards in June 2010. It has marked it’s placed in the literary world and is a definite stepping stone for all authors, writers and business owners.
Online Features
From A Writer’s POV features several authors and writers a month in the online version and Print Version of their magazine. The sections each month are:

Author Spotlight:
The Author Spotlight is a spotlight for authors who have published more than one book. From A Writer’s POV features them for one full month on our magazine.
Cover Story:
From A Writer’s POV likes to cover stories that would be of interest to the literary world. From A Writer’s POV covers the story by interviewing the host of the event. This cover story is featured for one full month.
Book of the Month:
The book of the month is featured on From A Writer’s POV for one full month. From A Writer’s POV interviews the author and the interview is all about the book. This feature is also available through From A Writer’s POV “The Literary Page Turner” book club. From A Writer’s POV allows the author to conduct a contest for one week before the book is advertised as book of the month. From A Writer’s POV interviews the author as well.
Upcoming Author of the Month:
This feature is for authors who have put out only one book and it has been within the last year. From A Writer’s POV interviews the author and features them for one month.
Poet of the Month:
From A Writer’s POV features a poet for one month and allows the poet to display a poem.
Publisher’s Choice:
This feature is From A Writer’s POV review system. Dominique, the owner of From A Writer’s POV reads and reviews books to encourage her readers and followers to purchase the book. Business Owner of the Month:
This feature spotlights one business owner a month that provides a literary service. This feature stays on the magazine for one full edition.

This feature is an area where From A Writer’s POV spotlights on ebook author a month.
Inspirational Buzz:
This feature allows inspirational writers to display their work in the print version. That includes short story, poems etc
Youth Corner:
This feature caters to the youth, 19 and below. From A Writer’s POV will allow the writer to spotlight their book, poems, writings etc. From A Writer’s POV will also allow those authors that write in the genre of youth or children’s book to be featured there as well.
Bonus Section
This section features anything that was special for the month that was outside of the magazine in one of our sister sites.
