WSW Lady of the Week

Regina is a sister with a passion for encouraging and building up others. As a member of several social networks, Regina prides herself in being active and connected with others. She is not in it for anything other than being a voice of support. She embodies the spirit of Women Support Women. When asked to tell about herself she is not interested in a 140 character marketing blurb but rather being sincere. Regina said, “I enjoy talking with and meeting positive people who are focused on their goals and uplifting the people around them”.Regina is a wife and dedicated mother of four. She lives in San Antonio Texas. However if you encounter her on one of the many networks, you will feel as if she lived down the street. She has a way about her that makes you feel welcomed and needed.Regina recently launched her own social network out of a desire to find a niche that she is passionate about. Out of much searching she realized that her recent hair journey is one that many women of color are going through. When asked why she created the site she responded “I want a place where women can come together and share. For most of us, we would have to think long and hard to remember a time when we wore our natural hair. Wearing your hair the way that God meant it to be is a wonderful feeling” Out of this Natural and Happy emerged. When asked to tell more about the dynamics of the site Regina added “I want women to have an environment to get advice, support and friendship while on their natural hair journey. If you feel the need to discuss other issues such as being a mom, make-up tips, etc. I only ask that you keep it positive.”So if you’re looking to go Natural, in the process, or a Natural Queen then Natural and Happy is for you.
