Everyone Can't Be In Your Front Row

Zanira’s Quote of the Day…….Everyone Can’t Be in Your Front RowEveryone Can't Be in Your Front RowLife is a theater - invite your audience quietly and carefully. Not everyone isdeserving of, or healthy enough to have, a front row seat in our lives. There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go, or at least minimizeyour time with draining, negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhererelationships / friendships / fellowships!Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention to: Which ones lift andwhich ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage? Yes, bewatchful for "people" who can always encourage themselves whilediscouraging you. Be watchful for those who are full of self praise whilenever finding praise on their lips towards others. Which ones are on a pathof growth uphill and which ones are stagnant or going downhill? When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse? Which onesalways have drama or don't really understand, know and appreciate you andthe gift that lies within you?The more you seek God and the things of God -- the more you seek quality, the more you seek not just the hand of God but the face of God -- the more you seek things honorable the more you seek growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you, the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the balcony of your life. You cannot change the people around you... but you can change YOU! Continue to seek the wisdom and discernment of God and choose wisely the people who you allow to sit in the front row of your life.Be Blessed & Always Stay EncouragedGod sees and knows everything; believe me when I sayHe is working out for youZanira Says SMILE

  • I've read this one before... but it is always nice to read a good read again! Good to know you were moved to post this one as well. Do you know who the origianal writter was? I would like to post this on my personal myspace page however, I would like to properly credit the author. If not I could post it as unknown.

    Thanks again,

  • You are so right. I have learned the hard way that I cannot be friends with everyone, be there for everyone or please everyone. Most certainly, not everyone has my best interest at heart. It is painful at first when you let people go, but quickly you realize just how detrimental the relationship was. That it may have been very one-sided, but you kept it going because of the goodness of your heart. At some point you have to decide that you are just as important and more so. You cannot allow others to drain you or step on your dreams or continue to take and never give, not so much as a thank you.
Thanks for your positive messages. Take care.
