The Obama Ladies at the DNC

As you may or may not know, I am an avid Obama supporter. I've been following his campaign since he announced that he would run. I haven't been this passionate about presidency since the Clinton years. Yup, I loved me some Bill Clinton! LOL. I watched the DNC last night and loved the speech he gave. It was so inspirational! I think a tear almost came down during the speech. It was just an amazing event with all my favorite political people like Al Gore and Bill Clinton there. Anyhoo, another thing that I must say that I was paying attention to was the Michelle, Malia, and Sasha Obama's hair! They have some beautiful head of hair and I just had to post. Below are some pictures prior to the DNC.

  • I put "I'm An Obama Mama" on a bag and many have framed it as a picture! Tom Joyner's speaker this morning had a beautiful poem about being an Obama supporter because his "mama" supports him. That's good enough for me! If you want a bag, write to trayleecenter@insight.rr.com for more information.
  • OBAHMA BABY..BELIEVE IT!!..I put that on a T-shirt..I wear it everyday...
  • The really cute thing for me is my 8 year old daughter is REALLY interested in the election process. I think it's wonderful that she did not realize how important it was to finally have a Black candidate for president or what a huge part of history she's witnessing... (color blind society that we all want)... but if you know me... I had to break it down for her and explain it to her!!! Now she REALLLLY is excited and she is totally a Obama Baby!!! At first, she was for Hilary ... you know the whole "girl power". She was really torn between having to choose between Hilary "Girl Power" Clinton and Barack "Do Drama" Obama... Let's just say.. my girl is straight now!!! And she walks proud in knowing our place as a people in history!!! Childrens' minds are sooooo fun to explore!

  • I have been a fan of Barack Obama since he spoke at the DNC in 2004. I was so impressed with him then and very mind blowing impressed now. It is a wonderful time in history. I have already booked a room in DC for the inaugaration in January just in case he is the new president of the United States. I want to be there. Have you read his books very inspirational.
  • All I can say is, it's a wonderful time in American History. Really, happy to be alive to see and experience this.
