SCHOLARSHIP OF THE DAY

UNCF/Dominion Scholars Program 2010
At Dominion, you'll find an inclusive, creative, and productive environment where employees with diverse backgrounds are accepted and respected and where it's possible for you to achieve your fullest potential. Our program engages students for paid work-sessions that involve projects or assignments that are closely related to the student's area of study. These experiences allow students to sharpen their skills, develop a network of contacts, assess their strengths, and test classroom theories in real-world settings. Students participate in this internship in the summer after their freshman and sophomore years. Our internships include exciting opportunities in a variety of fields including but not limited to: Physics, Finance, Business, and Engineering. Upon successful completion of each of the internships, UNCF/Dominion Scholars will receive scholarships to apply toward expenses for the upcoming academic year. Awards will be renewed contingent upon each Scholar maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and completing a successful internship based upon requirements specified by Dominion in evaluating intern work performance.
