Clark Atlanta University is a comprehensive, private, urban, coeducational institution of higher education with a predominantly African-American heritage. Educator Scholarship Program

The Hardwood Forest Foundation's Educator Scholarship Program assists future teachers with the costs of attending college. On April 19, 2011, the Foundation will award one $1,500 scholarship and 14 $1,000 scholarships. By providing these scholarships, the Foundation seeks to better equip young professionals to make decisions that will affect the future of the hardwood industry. The Hardwood Forest Foundation Educator Scholarship Program provides financial support and teaching tools to future educators enrolled as a:

■ Senior in a bachelor’s education program

■ Student in a master’s or doctorate education program.
