God's Will is Good, Acceptable, and Perfect.
You know... sometimes you wonder why things are not happening the way you want them to. You feel as though God has forgotten about you. I had one of those moments last week. Oh, I'm good now... but I have to remind myself often that God has a plan for me and that His timing is perfect. In fact He has a plan and purpose for each one of us. So what did I do to pick my head up? I leaned on God, read His Word and listened to a song that ministered to my spirit.
One of my favorite songs throughout the years has always been The Will Of God which is featured on the Hezekiah Walker CD "Family Affair". It features the beautiful voice of Monique Walker with background vocals of The Love Fellowship Crusade Choir. The lyrics (shown below) are so powerful. There are so many things about the will of God,
the things we don't understand because they seem so hard.
We try to find the way that seems to be just right,
but the way we choose only leads us further from the light.
But if we can learn to accept the things we cannot change,
and never question God for we'll never know His way.
