Traveling Down the Road to Autism Recovery

I know it isn't my fault. I didn't cause my son's autism, but that doesn't stop me from, occasionally, feeling a bit guilty.In order to heal myself on this road to recovery and since I'm more prone to be online than not, I decided to start journaling. The time has finally come, and I'll admit I wasn't the most patient person during the whole process. ;) But it has been an amazing 10 months, and I feel very blessed for the experience!My little book is officially published, “In My Mind: The World Through the Eyes of Autism"!It was pre-released on October 1, 2008, and will officially release on January 6, 2009.A portion of my proceeds will benefit Tulsa Autism Foundation and TACA - Talk About Curing Autism.It is my intention, through my book, for the reader to build a stronger desire to want to learn more about autism. It is also my intention to raise awareness about this disorder, and I hope that the reader will gain a deeper sense of compassion and tolerance for those “different” than themselves..Adonya
