I know its My Birthday… But Business must go on. I just got done Sewing up a Few power Ranger pillows. I had the Fabric since Earlier this week but my son Eric is in love with Power Rangers. So I Couldn't Make them around him or they wouldn't be for sale now. But Eric didn't have school today and his daddy came to get him.
If Eric found out I made this pillow and didn't give them to him…. He would probably shit on his self and then go crazy! No Joke.

On Friday, May 9, 2008 at the Victorian Manor in Edison, NJ, Divas On A Budget will be hosting a Scholarship Benefit to help raise money for the Marcia Rowe Scholarship Foundation for Creative Arts. Marcia Rowe, who passed away from breast cancer nearly 2 years ago was an avid lover of music and dance and donated regularly to African American dance and musioc schools in New Jersey. One of her wishes, before she left this earth, was to start a shcolarship fund that would help pay the tution for African American children to join programs related to creative arts to help keep them involved and off the streets. On Frieday May 9th we will see her dream realized with the first annual scholarship benefit created in her honor.
We are asking that everyone contribute to this worthy cause in honor of our children. We will be developing a "Booster" book so that you can advertise your business at an affordable rate while also contributing to the cause. Another way that you can donate is through shopping! How, you ask...Well, if you purchase from any of our advertiser in the Diva Mall (http://site.divashopdirect.com/DivaMall.html) 50% of the commissions earned will go toward the scholarship benefit. Here in my online journal, I write about multicultural websites, people and technology. Like the drummers of old Africa, we pass messages of interest and concern from one website to another.
One of my best sources for timely and relevant news and information about the Black online Diaspora is Hussein Hill, founder and proprietor of The Oral Buffet (see http://www.nbbta.org/channel2.htm). Brother Hill, is celebrating his two year anniversary this month. Here in the cyber-world, each year is likened to dog years, where every year you survive, is equal to six years in the brick and mortar world. The Oral Buffet has made the Big 2...smile

Hussein Hill is one of the most listened to radio talk show hosts on the NBBTA network. The show educates, entertains, informs and challenges its listeners. It includes weekly programs such as, "Promo Monday" where entrepreneurs, authors, performers and other experts in their fields share and promote their product or services. And, "Tell It Like It Is Tuesdays," when Hill and his guests delve into some of Black America's hottest and least talked about topics.
Hussein Hill is a recognized Digital Drummer and an active member/promoter of many Black social networking sites such as BlackBusinessSpace.com, ConnectingBlack.com and iZania.com (as well as MySpace, Linkedin and others). A quick Google search on his name returns almost a thousand hits. Hill, a former actor and real estate agent, uses his skills to enlighten and inform a predominantly Black audience.
