ARE YOU A MISTRESS?

Are you a mistress? Now isn’t that a question to ask yourself? Being a mistress is in no way shape or form a positive thing. Mistresses are the wrong type of female friends. Have you ever had a friend that gave your man more compliments than you did? Did she always want to be around when you were having a date or a special occasion with your man? How about that friend that calls him to see if he is ok?First and foremost, if she has your man’s number, that is your fault! She should never call him, even to find you. The point, she shouldn’t have anything to do with you and your man’s relationship. Learn to respect yourself as a woman. As women, we have a great power; the ability to make men bend at our will. So, why be a mistress? If you know that you can make any man do anything, then why not find a man that isn’t already attached or involved with another woman. It is pathetic for a woman to prowl out for things that don’t belong to her.A lot of women are misguided. They don’t keep positive people around them, and they don’t strive to do better. If you have one of the friends that I listed in the first paragraph, then you should know that those friends are not the positive people. Mistresses allow themselves to be overwhelmed by the articulated words a man uses. Ever feel like you have the male friend that always wants something from you? Does he only call when he needs something? Does he act like he never wants to be out in public with you? Maybe he even tells you that he is always busy, but always finds the time to see you when he gets horny? Red flag ladies; think about it.A man that can treat you like you are not a priority is a waste of time. Move on, and keep it pushing. Don’t let what seems to be his confident behavior control how you treat him. Learn all the signs, so you won’t become a victim. That’s right, a victim! It’s what you are. Once a man knows he can manipulate the situation, he will. Don’t let him. Fight back, and don’t become a mistress.Mistresses never prevail. Think about it! How many mistresses do you know that have won a man over and kept him there with no repercussions? We see it all the time, like Angelina Jolie stealing Brad Pitt from Jennifer Aniston. She fought her way into a married man’s arms. You have to give her cool points for her efforts, though. Angelina is better at it than most, but now she is struggling to keep her man. By the end of this chapter you will be able to tell if you are a mistress, learn how not to take the choice away if put in that situation, and how adultery affects relationships. Stop living a lie.

POEMS WE'VE WRITTEN

A WIFE’S TEARSI cry for all the pain I feel,in her arms you do laymy trust you did stealits ten o'clock and you’re still away.I had to work late is what you'll sayshe called twice but did not speakas I stare at uneaten dinner platesI can smell her perfume on your cheeks. In my bed she did sleep,I can't take no more of thisI remember an extra copy of the keyhome alone while you’re with your mistress.A wife's tears, seems not enough its ok, Allen is helping me move in my stuff. Was she worth it?You say you love me.You say you care. You tell me not to leave but you’re never there. You see the tears running down my eyes and all you can say is “please don’t cry”.You say she means nothing but you allowed that nothing to ruin a part of me.You tell me that I’m your everything…How could you tell her that you loved her?How could you sleep with her in our bed?You forgot about your everything for a moment of nastiness. You forgot about our home because of your loneliness. You forgot that your loneliness was your fault. Our home is broken. Our lives have changed.Happily ever after is no more. When I look in your eyes, I see her. When you touch me, I feel her.I hate her.I hate you because of her. When you look in the mirror, are you proud? Is this what you thought we’d become? Was she worth it?BITCH HE’S MARRIEDBitch he’s married, you heard what I said,Don’t come at me with your bullshit because he got in your head.He preached he wasn’t married, he said he lives alone,By 815 he has fucked you and on his way home. You didn’t see it coming, you didn’t think twice,That maybe just maybe, he’s leaving to be with his wife. How pathetic you are settling to be second best,Bitch I know one thing; you will never walk down a runway in my wedding dress.I got to give it to you for distracting him and disrespecting me from behind,But his ass knows to be in my house by nine. The moments you’ve shared, the lies he has told,You believe him with every breathe, what a simple hoe.Time is passing and you still have no clue,That when all else fails, bitch he won’t end up with you.Bitch if you think I’m playing ask him and you will see,That even if he leaves, I will be getting alimony. Then I’m coming for you, you are weak and lame,Your hustle is no match for how I play the game.Oh don’t be scared now bitch, you thought you had him,I’ll see you in court; by the way my lawyers name is Adam.I’ll sue you and I’ll win,Alienation of affection is how this began. You cry and moan that you didn’t know,But the calls and text messages is what my phone bill shows.Sneaking around has its repercussions,Bitch I warned you about fucking my husband.Karma is here, and these are your consequences,That’s what you get for being a temporary replacement.A mistress knows nothing else besides using her pussy to be carried,This should be the last time I say this,BITCH HE’S MARRIED.By: Angela PittsIFIf I told you that I loved you would it matter? If I asked you not to leave would you stay? If I kissed you would you kiss me back? If I cried on your shoulder would you wipe away my tears? If I gave you my heart would you break it in two? If I could look past the pain could you? For "IF" to only have two letters it is such a BIG word. If I loved you could I move on? If I cared could I forgive? If you looked in my eyes could you see my soul? could you see the damage that has been caused? If we could go back in time would we? If I told you the pain was killing me would you stop? please stop... then again If grandma had balls she’d be grandpa so in the end "IF" never really matters.BY JASMINE MCKETHAN

Are You a Mistress? Are You Worth More? This book is inspired by “The Black Man’s Guide on How to Cheat on Your Woman”, by Kurin Keys. We know that men cheat. What we need to know is why the mistress is willing to be second best. Men play the game well, but they’ve learned from the best; women! Learn everything from the different types of men and mistresses to how to repair your relationship. Reading this book should have helped women know who is a mistress and why the lifestyle is unacceptable; but if you’re going to be one, do it right. It should have taught the men how women can love them, guide them and dismiss them.Devaluing yourself comes with karma and a lot of consequences. Being the mistress represents everything that women should be against. However if you are going to be the other woman, you need to know the rules and regulations that go along with it. Mistress’ are forgetting that they are only for a man’s temporary use. A man will hustle you and take your choice away; adding you to his payroll on his wife’s tears. The mistress’s job is to stroke a man’s ego, and then to send him home. The mistress should never feel that she has a chance to take the lead position. If you are a man, this book will show you how to be So Above having a Mistress. If you are a mistress, this book will show you your place, and teach you how to stay in it.No woman should ever settle for being second best. So Above Mistress is exactly what the name says; knowing that you are better then just being the other woman. It is a state of mind. It is the way you carry yourself. When a man is in your presence, he should know that he has to step his game up if he wants the chance to get to know you.Question. If women created the game, why is it so hard for them to stay in their place? Mistresses are trying to take over. They have forgotten their role in the game. The Webster dictionary describes a mistress as “A woman filling the place, but without the rights of a wife. A concubine; a loose woman with whom one consorts habitually.” Real women have their own men, and don’t have to borrow another woman’s man. Sleeping with someone’s man is not cute; it’s pathetic. If you are going to be the mistress, stay in the background. If you don’t know how to play the game, take a seat on the bench. It doesn’t matter which category you fall under; wife, girlfriend or mistress, this guide is for you. By the end of this book, you should be able to answer the question, “Who’s man is he really?”.TUG-OF-WAR: WHO'S MAN IS HE REALLY? WILL BE ON AMAZON.COM SOON WE WILL BLOG OUR RELEASE DATE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.IN THE MEANWHILE PLEASE FEEL FREE TO GIVE US SOME FEEDBACK ON THIS TOPIC. WE WILL POST SOME INTERESTING TOPICS.SO ABOVE MISTRESS

My Declaration - it's time...............

On March 14th I wrote this declaration and I just thought I should share with you..............I have read the Bible, The Secret, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success,The Power of Intention - I can go on and on........ I read the books, I become inspired and I pledge to myself that I am going to follow the principles of these teachings. They all share the same point - your thoughts are powerful and thus the keys to our life's success begins with the mind and how it is used.I have done it all! I have set aside the time to meditate between 7:00 and 7:30pm with specific instructions not to disturb me during that time period. Well, it just did not go smoothly. If everything was fairly quiet almost all afternoon, by 7:01 it all begins - the laughter, the loud shhhhhhh - mommy is trying to meditate, the door to my room is suddenly a magnet for traffic. One evening, I stuck my fingers in my ears and squeezed my eyes shut. I was determined to reach that zone - the calmness, the one with myself, the ability to relax and let go. Needless to say, that was not working. I decided to fore go the evening time slot and go for the 5am period - that should work. Well, it has not. I haven't gathered up the discipline to meditate. I am wide awake yet I am thoroughly engaged with the news - as if it wont repeat all morning.I am writing this now openly. It's out there - I need to focus on applying the principles of the inspirational teachings. I have to make this year a powerful and profound year. After all it is up to me and all I have to do is apply my thoughts in a positive direction. I am aware that it is not going to be easy, but I have to work through the distractions. I will begin to meditate tomorrow - it is time.

Greetings Family,(Contact Information At Bottom Of Page)It's your friendly neighborhood "Digital Drummer" again (smile)As I wrote in my article on Africa being the world's fastest growing mobile market (see http://www.blackwebportal.com/wire/DA.cfm?ArticleID=3498 ): As the originators of American and world Pop culture, Black programmers and developers should be looking at the African market the way Black Jazz musicians looked at Europe in 50's - The Land Of Opportunity And Wealth. Below is a news article sent to me from the BDPA-Africa Yahoogroup. As the nation's oldest and largest Black tech organization, the BDPA (see www.bdpa.org) has many forums and social sites set up to promote and empower Blacks in technology.Like the BDPA, I believe we must begin to reach out to our African brothers and build bridges of entrepreneurialship that will allow us to side-step the mega corporations and sell our goods and services direct to the mobile and net-based African marketplaceBrother Chifu (chifu2222@gmail.com) is a prominent and active Digital Drummer, living and working in Africa for the betterment of the Black online Diaspora. African villagers connect with Nokia SiemensPosted by: "Chifu" chifu2222@gmail.com Sat Apr 5, 2008 5:14 pm (PDT)African Villagers Connect With Nokia Siemenshttp://it-online.co.za/content/view/253592/142/Nokia Siemens Networks has added Internet access capability to its Village Connection, combining technology with business model innovation to create a self-sustaining model for rural access in emerging markets. The Village Connection with Internet Kiosk will enable people in remote villages to access the Internet. Internet Kiosk allows them to connect, and access online information with an opportunity to improve their quality of life. The Internet Kiosk provides a holistic solution which brings voice, SMS, and Internet access to rural locations untouched by the power of the Internet and mobile communication. Internet Kiosk will utilize the IP backhaul connection of the solution. The key challenge for the rural connectivity is affordability, and typically consumers with low income in rural areas can spend only very little on mobile and Internet services. Nokia Siemens Networks Village Connection addresses these challenges by combining technology with business model innovation to create a solution which is self sustaining, easy to implement and benefits everyone involved. For rural consumers Nokia Siemens Networks Village Connection is, in many cases, the only way to access voice, mobility and the Internet. It helps them communicate across geographic boundaries, and access information to realize greater business and social opportunities. In areas such as healthcare, education and business, the power of the Internet can transform lives. By enabling the people to have affordable access to online information services such as commodity prices, healthcare and education, Village Connection Internet Kiosk will improve the wellbeing, knowledge base and economic prospects of rural consumers.Village Connection Internet Kiosk also provides rural consumers with shared access models similar to those available to Internet café customers in urban areas.Local entrepreneurs who support the operator and manage Village Connection networks for mobile services, can now also provide services based on Internet access.Village Connection Internet Kiosk is easy to operate via a shared computer in a village. Entrepreneurs have a valuable role as they are able to tutor villagers on how to use the Internet for accessing relevant information and services. The system provides villages with autonomous local access points, which include all the technology needed to establish a village-level communications network. These local networks can be run by village entrepreneurs as franchises, reducing costs for network operators. In turn, local networks support full connectivity to an operator's main network.***************(Advertisement)*********************TraVerus Travel - Become a part of the most unique family in MLMTo learn more about free travel visit their websitewww.traverusfaststart.com/yes.html******************************************************This Online Journal was brought to you by InterServe Networks. Functions of African Art pt2

African art serves to facilitate communication between people and supernatural forces and beings. Objects made to fulfill this function are chiefly in the form of human or animal figures. They are given their powers by religious practitioners who are able to make contact with the spirit world and to work with magic. Sculptures of this nature serve such essential purposes as warding off disease, natural calamities, and other evil; bringing fertility to people, animals, or crops; and rendering difficult judgments. They are frequently rubbed with palm oil and coated with other potent materials both to imbue them with their magical powers and to maintain their effectiveness. Certain large sculptures in this category are invoked to assure the general well-being of the entire community. Smaller examples are used by individuals to bring similar benefits to themselves and their families.Art is also made in Africa to indicate the wealth and status of its owner. Objects of daily use such as neck rests, stools, cups, boxes, staffs, and pipes are carefully carved to proclaim the taste and social position of those who use them. Much of this art is purely decorative, made to be seen and casually admired by all members of the community. Other examples serve to signify that their owners have undergone the process of investiture to become rulers and are therefore entitled to the prerogatives of leadership.Art plays an essential role in the lives of the African peoples and their communities. It serves a much more vital purpose than merely to beautify the human environment, as art is usually employed in contemporary Western societies. The beauty of African art is simply an element of its function, for these objects would not be effective if they were not aesthetically pleasing. Its beauty and its content thus combine to make art the vehicle that ensures the survival of traditions, protects the community and the individual, and tells much of the person or persons who use it.Host unlimited photos at slide.com for FREE!AKUABA FERTILITY DOLL~ $42.00This Akuaba figure is an ebony, hand-carved symbol of fertility. Chained & Bound Reading Report

This report was written about my book that I submitted to the Publishing Company: DORRANCE PUBLISING COMPANYMarch 19, 2008READING REPORT"Chained and Bound", written by Allyson B. Campbell, is an intriguing submission of original fiction that focuses on the extraordinary life and exploits of the main character. Having successfully readjusted her life following a nasty divorce from her husband, "Maxine" has settled into a comfortable life. Shortly after the dissolution of her marriage, she begins dating a friend of her ex-husband named "Paul". A kind, attentive, and loyal man, Paul falls deeply in love with Maxine. While enjoying his birthday dinner celebration together, he unexpectedly proposes, catching her completely off guard. Although she feels strongly about Paul, Maxine is unsure if she is ready to wade back into the often-rocky waters of matrimony. The fate of her future resting with her answer, Maxine is vexed with mixed emotions. Eventually, she comes to a decision which she feels is in the best interests of all those involved. From this foundation, the author constructs an entertaining tale.Composed in a captivating narrative and compelling dialogue, the text flows at a brisk tempo. The plot contain more than a few strategically placed, unexpected twists that should maintain the reader’s interest throughout. The characters are developed and presented in a multi-dimensional fashion revealing the intricacies of their unique personalities and individual agendas. In addition, Mrs. Campbell effectively manages to avoid artificially padding the work with superfluous material and unnecessary characters thereby keeping the focus directed towards the primary storyline. Navigating the plot to well conceived and logical conclusion, the author could leave the reader with the sense of time well invested in the reading of this story.Allyson B. Campbell’s highly creative style of writing and keen attention to detail could further enhance the appeal of this work.

Generational Views - 40 Years After The Death

Generational Views - 40 Years After The DeathBy Jim NeusomThe City Lights Reporter(www.citylightssoftware.com)April 3, 2008Friday April 4th is the 40th anniversary of the death of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. A recognized American Icon. In the 40 years since his passing, we the direct beneficiaries of his legacy (meaning all Americans), have made much progress, and lost much ground...in achieving that dream which he so beautifully articulated on that hot summer day in 1963.Stop and think...it's been less then a generation and now we have a African American, who all the world says, is "qualified" to be the leader of the most powerful country on the planet earth! What an accomplishment. In Rev. King's day, a Black man wasn't considered qualified to be a fireman, more or less a President. To put it simply, we were lucky to be workers, forget about leaders. Ohhh...how times have changed!!But as this election season has shown, we have so much further to go. To paraphrase Rev. King; a nation that continues to spend more on its military then the betterment of its society, is approaching spiritual death! (see Where Do We Go from Here http://www.mlkonline.net/quotes.html). Today, we have publicly castrated a man of God, who's 35 years of good works, have been condensed down to a 30 second sound bite for essentially saying the same thing as Rev. King...God Damn America! If in 2008, Rev. King's 1967 sermon at New York's Riverside Church was on YouTube, we would be calling him a Racist instead of Peacemaker. How many times would Fox News replay his statement calling America, "the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today". Oops I forgot, they did call him a race baiter, communist, and much more within the pages of the New York Times, after he spoke out against the war...I guess times really haven't changed. So where am I going with this...as my Jewish brethren say, we must "Never Forget". On this coming Friday, do not let your children be fed His-Story by those who want to turn the legacy of Rev. Martin Luther King into a caricature of "The Good Negro" for public consumption. Sit your children down and tell them the entirety of Rev. King's life, and not just a 30 second..."I Have A Dream" sound-bite.***************(Advertisement)*********************Need some great ideas for corporate or personal gift-giving?Then go to City Lights Software(http://www.citylightssoftware.com )and see some of the most unique afrocentric gifts available online! We Deliver ONLINE - Direct To Your Desktop for just $14.95Please take the time to purchase one our afrocentric screen savers TODAY!Don't Just Talk the Talk...Let Your Dollars Walk the WalkIf you have any problems with purchasing online contact me direct at sales@citylightssoftware.com or call (213) 944-4176******************************************************This generation is the culmination of the hopes and dreams of 300 years of Black struggles. When they hear the stories of the 60's they think Ancient history...not Resent history!!It's been less then 40 years since Jim Crow prevented you and I, from living where we wanted, going to school where we wanted, working were we wanted, but this generation only knows media sound bites and history book test answers. They have a whole different perspective on American history and like in Pop culture, when they hear the N or B word, they think...Not Them!As Barak Obama articulated so well in his speech "A More Perfect Union", race in America is seen differently through generational prisms. "This union may never be perfect, but...what gives me the most hope is the next generation" (see http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23690567). Rev. King's youngest daughter, Evangelist Dr. Bernice A. King (speaking with the fervor and power of her father about the Jena 6 phenomena), went so far as to call them the Joshua generation. A generation that sees giants in the land and still say...Yes We Can!When we look into our children's eyes, we understand in the twinkling of an instant what has carried our people through slavery, reconstruction, Jim Crow, and the turbulent 60's, that the faith of a child can move mountains. Over the course of this country's development, we have heard plenty words, and seen many broken promises, yet in our hearts...we too still believe. As our fathers and their fathers before them, we will not quash the embers of faith and hope within our children eyes. Our parents thought we were crazy to stand against the fire hoses and police dogs of the 60's. And I'm sure Black mothers wondered why their sons were going to fight for freedom in Europe when they were not free here. But they looked into their children's eyes, and saw the same spark of faith...that we see today. So this Friday, as we are bombarded with media images of Rev. Martin Luther King's contributions to the greatness of America, let's not forget to take the time to teach our children about how far we've come, and how far we have yet to go. Let us fan the embers of our children's faith, with truth and honor...not myths and sound bites.***************(Advertisement)*********************Looking For More Exposure, Want To Help A Good Cause, Need Money???Come on over to www.freshfaces2u.com and register to win $10,000 dollars CASH!At Fresh Faces2u it's NOT about how you look...But Who You Are!Join us in our mission to change the image of women in the mediaSign Up Today At Fresh Faces2u.com******************************************************This Online Journal was brought to you by InterServe Networks.
