The Music In You

The Music In You

Perhaps you're in a place in your life where you feel that your life is not all that it could be.

Maybe, someplace inside of you, there is a recognition that there is a "more expansive" way of living although you are not quite sure what path to use to get there.

We all come here with an innate drive to express ourselves as fully and as vibrantly as we can.

As children, our imagination creates endless possibilities for ourselves and our lives. We imagine flying as naturally as we do brushing our teeth or getting dressed.

Being a superhero was as easy as tying a sheet around our necks for a cape and leaping off the sofa! Being a princess was a matter of wearing a makeshift crown and your mother's high heeled shoes.

As a child, there was always a tune or a whistle on your lips that radiated from your heart!

There was a time when you believed anything was possible!

And then the music was silenced...

Life happened!

More importantly, inside your version of the story, Life happened to you!

One day you were told that you weren't a princess, that you could not fly; and furthermore superheros were noteven real!

One day you woke up and all of the possibility was knocked right out of you!

For the purpose of this guide, we will define possibility as an "opening".

A space inside which anything wonderful can happen!

Conversely, I say, To live without possibility is to live with regret.”

Webster defines regret as “a feeling of sorrow, fault or remorse for something lost.”

So "possibility" is the music inside all of us.

Perhaps you have heard the phrase that says,

"Don't die with the music inside of you!"

Don't leave this life filled with regrets and wondering what might have been if only you had dared to live inside what is possible for you!

Question for my BBW sistas

I am in the process of creating a blog. I have made my decision of my blog site. Now I have to decide on my domain name. I have been using scent4u on all of my social websites, twitter, etc. Do I change it? This name came from my time in the partylite business. PartyLite is no longer a business for me. I have finally found the business that speaks true to myself and style. One is Vault Denim and To The Nines. Jeans and shoes my ultimate passion aside from sewing and designing clothes. It all revolves around fashion. Many out there in the world wide web know me as scent4u. My two business are referred to as Strut Your Denim and Strut My To The Nines. What are your thoughts. Keep or start anew?Looking forward to your viewpoints.Blessings to one and all.

The county fair circuit must be getting desperate for new fried foods. After all, fried beer, deep-fried Twinkies and fried lemonade have been clogging fair-goers' arteries for years. But now, deep-fried Kool-Aid balls make all previous fried creations seems like pure child's play, not so much because the recipe is anything special but because it just sounds so gross.
Creator Charlie Boghosian explains that the Kool-Aid balls are "kind of like donut holes" with a batter made from flour, water and Kool-Aid. His inspiration was fairly straightforward; Boghosian loved drinking Kool-Aid when growing up so he thought, "why not fry it and see what happens."
In the first weekend of the San Diego County Fair, Boghosian sold 400 to 600 five-ball orders per day. Boghosian has gone through 150 pounds of Kool-Aid powder and 1,500 pounds of flour to make about 9,000 deep-fried Kool-Aid balls.
Fried Kool-Aid has been trending on Twitter, perhaps proving that if people can get this excited over an artificial cherry-flavored fried ball, the golden age of fried food innovation has yet to run its course
