http://www.businesscreditamerica.com/ 1-800-652-7157 In this video, I explain, why many businesses fail.

Many people imagine having a business already exstablished just like a full grown plant.  However, they don't full understand that they must do the following steps in order to see it grow to its full maturity.  Lets look at how you grow a plant. You pour the dirt, plant the seed, your water it often so it won't die. So basically you have to take time to nourish the business just like a plant.

There are specific reasons a businesses fail.  It starts with money.  Most people will borrow from their retirement plan or 401k, they borrow from their friends, family and relatives, the borrow from their saving and credit card.

Now they've dumped all this money into a business that sells tangible products.  When they need money to restock they have no one to fund their business.  Another reason many businesses fail is because of the market they are trying to cater to may not be responding to their product.  For instance you can not stick a Louis Vuitton store in the hood, because people making between 25k to 35k don't have the means to buy 1k purses.

Another reason many businesses fail is because of their product.  Most people sell a product because of the trend and it's making money now. However if you learn to do what you love and make that a product then you'll have less competition.  Especially if you further your education on that product.  Stop doing thing because it's trendy and making money now educatte your self on what it is you love to do and you'll always make money in your market.

I get calls from a lot of people that want to get into real estate however they know very little about real estate investing.  They have very little knowledge  about buying a property and what is it going to take to get that property back on the mark to get a good rate of return.  Now with wall street buying residentual real estate from the banks for pennies on the dollar it better to focus on buying commercial real estate..  You get about 5 or 6 partners together and buy a strip mall and rent it out to people that are starting new business.

I hope this video was informative to someone, thank you.

How do I wear that trend...bold colors

They were hot this past summer and they’re still hot for 2009. Bold colors are still a great trend that is holding strong. While basic black will always be classic and a fashion favorite, bold colors are a great way to make your outfits pop. Now as someone that isn’t a big fan of patterns, I enjoy the bold color trend because it gives me the ability to some extra flair to my outfits without having to deal with patterns.I know, I know. I need to show patterns some love and I am working on it but in the meantime, I will rock those bold colors. I do realize, however, that there are some of you who have an almost totally black wardrobe. Or there are others of you who live life in different shades of tan and brown. It’s ok, you can do the bold color trend as well. Some easy and non intimidating ways to incorporate bold colors into your wardrobe is through jewelry, shoes, hair accessories and purses. If you are a lady that enjoys wearing lots of black, you can spice up that black outfit with a bold colored bracelet or a bold colored pair of shoes. If you are a lady that enjoys wearing tans, you can spice up that tan outfit with a burnt orange or red accessory of any kind. The bold color trend is not unlike the jewel tone trend. For more tips, check out this post I did on how to incorporate jewel tones depending on the most prevalent color palette in your wardrobe. How do I wear Jewel TonesYou can also refer to a post that I wrote about how to wear the bright color trend that was really popular over the summer. Honestly, bold colors and bright colors aren’t that different. The tone is usually what may separate the two. Bold colors can be bright or they can just be striking. For example, burnt orange is a bold color whereas candy apple red is a bright color. See the difference? Check out this post for more tips. How do I wear Bright ColorsAny questions? Don’t do that-Be a slave to fashion trends

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to work as a dresser at the famously infamous Victoria’s Secret fashion show. The show was held at this fabulous hotel called Fontainebleu in Miami Beach. My weekend was aptly filled with beautiful and highly fashionable people.I quickly noticed a new fashion trend being worn by different ladies. They had on these super cute black lame leggings. I mentioned them and discovered that they could be purchased at American Apparel. I was excited about going and trying them on to see how they would look on me. I mentioned this to my friend and she shook her head and told me that I wasn’t allowed to do that. See, I am not petite by any means. I’m 5′5 and larger than a size 6. I also have big, athletic looking legs. It’s entirely possible that those pants will look extra crazy on me and I appreciate my friend for bringing me back to reality. Now I may sneak and try them on anyway but I already know it’s probably not a good idea to buy them and wear them in public. However, I am all over the skinny jeans…But I digress. The moral to my story is that we should never be a slave to fashion. Just because something is fashionable and looks great on one person, doesn’t mean it will look great on you. Case in point, there was a woman that decided to jump on the legging bandwagon and she looked really bad. The leggings didn’t compliment her in any way. Now if she had friends like mine, she wouldn’t have been allowed to purchase and wear them.Fashion is supposed to be fun and creative but it should also be realistic. There are some great trends out there right now that we all can indulge in. For example, the purple trend is open to everyone. Purple is a great color that works on every skin tone, especially since it comes in so many different shades. Just because something is fashionable, doesn’t mean everyone can wear it. When you want to experiment with fashion, do it in a store dressing room. Make sure you have an honest friend with you. Also make sure there is a three way mirror near by. If you look at yourself in the trendy garment and it doesn’t look good all around, don’t buy it. Leave it in the store and find another trend to try. There are so many fashion trends out there that you are bound to find one that looks great on you.And for those of you who can wear the leggings, here is a picture of the ones I think are uber cute along with a link. Enjoy!

The Color Purple

Sista, you've been on my mind . . . Okay not The Color Purple movie, I just love that song. This is about the COLOR purple. Purple is the color for fall. It's the new "black." It's the new "brown." It's the foundation color around which the fall wardrobe is being built.

The darker hues such as mulberry, magenta, eggplant, burgundy and dark violet are all prominent in fall fashions. Mix them with black or brown components like in the new Max Studio collection.

Nails continue to be dark, but there are lighter colors in the purple family. OPI's Couture Couleur La Collection de France features colors like the eggplant "Yes I Can-Can" and the wine "Eiffel for this Color." Lovely purple colors inspired by France.
For the brave and daring, go dark with the lipstick too.
